I saw the anime on youtube during my middle school days and I wasn't able to watch all of it...

but now I started watching it again and I just got hooked. I felt that watching took too much time so I started to read the manga. OMG. It's so good. It took me 4 days to catch up with the most recent chapter (basically most of my fall break) 326 chapters that is worth more than a decade's work! I'm a manga reading monster. hahaha~

Of course I will also watch the anime in my spare time. (I'm currently on episode 44)

Plus I have also seen both of the HunterxHunter musicals on youtube! Which were AmAzInG!

Wow. What a short and simple fall break.

I spent a lot of time with my family and some with my closest friends.

I'm thankful to have them with me and blessed with their love.

Howl's Moving Castle

I finished the original novel today! ^^

First I saw the animated version and I absolutely love the way Hayao Miyazaki made the film but the book is just as brilliant! Of course the film doesn't go 100% to the book but I would say that Hayao got the heart of the story just beautifully and made a wonderful film. In the film, Howl is handsome and dashing man (just like he's suppose to be) but in the book you get more depth of his personality and background. Howl is also such a big diva!! He is much more selfish and dramatic in the book than the movie (and it's really amusing). In the book Calcifer is suppose to look pretty scary but you can tell that he is somewhat of  a sweet heart, but I like the way Hayao drew him. It suits his character more. Michael is actually suppose to be 15 and in love with Sophie's sister which really surprised me. It was hard for me to see Michael older than what he was portrayed in the film. 

Anyways, I could just write and write about the differences and similarities of the film and book for pages. If you love the animation or the book then you should experience both and compare them!

This story is by Diana Wynne Jones and I'm sorry to say that she passed in the March earlier this year from lung cancer. May she rest in peace.

My Guilty Pleasure

Oh Ma GAWD.

I have a confession to make.

... I convinced made my parents buy me SPIKE by Jeffrey Campbell!

So. Nordstrom has recently opened in this small town Nashville! I have never seen so many different people in Green Hills before! I visited Nordstrom everyday on the weekend that it opened. I went late at night with Katherine, the next day again with more friends, and then the next day with my whole family! I literally did nothing except eye shop. BUT! They had these beautiful weapons heels on display!!!

OMG. It is the most beautiful and fiercest heels I have ever seen. I got to feel them and wear them! I wanted them SOOO bad... but $195 is no easy money. Especially if I want to talk it out of my parents.

Anyways...I tried them on and thought, "maybe next time" but honestly... it was never going to happen. phew, $195! grrr... maybe even a little less would be good. Then my friend noticed that there was a missing stud on the bottom of the heel. So I asked the sales person if I could get a discount because it was "damaged." He said that he could get me 10% off! Whoooo!! Plus these were the last heels in my size, size 7. I said I would think of it and hoped that no one else would buy it. I came back the next day with my family and the first thing I showed my parents were these shoes!! They were baffled but I told them how much I loved them! xD I asked if I could get it but mom and dad were like, no. I explained that you couldn't buy them anywhere but here and that we could get a discount! Still no. hmm... so for the rest of the day I bothered them little by little and in the end my mom gave in! YAY! She didn't like them because they were so punkish and unlady-like. lol. Man did I score~ Plus what surprised me was that the shoes were really $160? even though the bottom of the heel said $195... I just left the lady alone and plus she gave us 10% off! So in total (with sales tax) it came out as $154! Hahahhaa! That's about $6 dollars cheaper than my Stars and Stripes pair! lol!

Anyways, moral of this story. Never give up. Hahahhaa~

I can't wait to rock these out in public! ^^

Honestly, I didn't like it at first-- but now I'm just diggin' it! hahaha! I'm going full out! ^^

Senior Recognition

Senior Recongnition is a day where my school has an assembly that recognizes the Seniors. duh. lol.

Anyways we get to wear white dresses~ and I got to convince my parents to buy me these for this occasion! ^^

I was caught in between these two, but I chose the lita's in the end~ ;P

I've always wanted a pair of Jefferey Campbell Litas! xD

I also bought a pretty nice dress off Asos (on sale~)

Man.... I was SO excited to wear my heels to school! ...because I knew I would get compliments~ ^^

but I was not prepared for what happened. People were obsessed with my shoes!!! lol. I'm not trying to be conceited or anything... but the compliments were overwhelming! I think I've gotten enough comments for a year! lol. People took more pictures of my shoes than of me~ xD

In the end it was a good day! Well, actually I started my period in the middle of the day...

white dresses + period = no fun. Other than that-- it was all good~ :)

Well, recently I took this to heart because my whole high school career I always thought that I could do EVERYTHING--but I can't (obviously). SO I am going to make sacrifices that I should have made a LOOONG time ago.

I need to make a list (cause they're fun to make)

1. Balance time on the internet

I literally get sucked to whatever site I'm interested. On Tumblr I can lost an hour almost instantly sometimes. That needs to be controlled.

2. Asian Drama's

Asian dramas are a part of my life. It's gonna be hard to cut it entirely... so for now I'm going to only watch 1 drama at a time and only 1 episode a week. If I still can't get the results I want from school then I will completely shut it out of my life.

3. Anime/manga

I don't think I've been watching a lot lately but when something good comes out I know I will watch everything without sleeping. If an interesting anime comes out then the same rule with number 2.

4. I need to COMMIT COMMIT!!!!

Ahhh!!! today I have received knowledge about new dramas coming out this summer!!!!
AHHHASFGHJKJHGFDSFGHJ!!!! There is no way to express how excited I am for these dramas to come out!!!~~ There are 4 of them (except for one)!!! Kyaaa!!~~

So first of all- Japan finally decided to make a live action of Ouran High School Host Club!
My ALL Time favorite Manga/anime!!! kyaa~~~
I can't wait to see how they adapt it into a live version~ SO EXCITING!! XD

After 13 years the cicadas have risen from the ground!! Ahh~~ ^^
hahaha~ honestly I was scared at first because people said that they would be EVERYWHERE
but right now its not that bad. But they do make a hell lot of noise outside!
